Simich played one season with the Screaming Eagles who had 29 points and 66 pims in 66 games. Takuma Kawai was a Free Agent invite to the Screaming Eagles camp which opens on the 18th, is a native of Japan and moved to Canada in 2003, he played this season with the West Island College Harrington Icebergs Junior “A” team, a canadian team that plays in an American Collegiate league. If he makes the Drummondville Club he’ll become the first ever Japanese player to play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
